It's hard not to imagine the past when you walk or drive down Broadway in downtown L.A. All you have to do is look up at the amazing intricacy of the architecture and you see an entirely different era captured - that beautiful golden era that we love most here at Duplicity. Though, in recent years, this historical street has been paved with less love than when it was created. Pawn shops and cheap knock-off stores instead occupy its corners. By no means is this a bad thing, but you can tell that Broadway is beginning to reappear as it once was.

Thanks to the city's 'Bringing Back Broadway' campaign and such businesses as The Ace Hotel, Acne Studios, and Urban Outfitters, Los Angeles is ready to take back the Art Deco decadence of long ago and reinvent it by maintaining its original glamour within the urban culture it has embraced today. Incredible theaters and movie palaces are being renovated, exciting restaurants and shops are emerging, and even a Streetcar is in the works to resonate "the dream of once again riding a streetcar downtown a reality."

Broadway, we're ready for your second debut.
